Dandelions

Spring stumbles

between broken twigs.

Gets a bloody nose from a swinging branch,

Struggles between fifty degrees to eighty.

People hoarse from mold on pavements and walls

Robins and bluejay

Beg  to let

dandelions spread.

Let  ivy climb to its content.

Let lantana bushes bloom in

red and blue.

Don’t spray poison,.

Don’t mow grass.

Paint lawns green.

Let wild rabbits dance with roses.

Party all night

Welcome me:

Naked and lusty.
