Witch′es’ Brew n. [AS. wicce, a magician, a sorcerer; prob. from wiccian, to use sorcery & AS. Breówan, to brew.]

1. A potion, esp. with magical properties that we steeped in the square cavities we made lining the south end of the hardtop, || breaking open the neat rows of little milky-glass skylights with sticks, stones and old red bricks from a crumbling burnt-out wall. || Composed of storm water & other esoteric ingredients (i.e. Lung of cat, eye of newt, witches wart, etc).
