Four Things

“Admit nothing.

Deny everything.

Act surprised.

Show concern.”

Some people say you should

“Make counter accusations.”

I didn’t learn it that way.

Besides, you’ll tip your hand.

For example, you would say,

“What’s going on?

It wasn’t me.

Really?

Oh, I’m so sorry.”

You can almost always pull this off.

If you add,

“I think you were the one,”

you’ll highlight yourself as

the guilty party.

The counter accusations

are just a little too much.

Just relax.

End by showing your concern.

Your humanity.

It’s more believable that way.
